Strategic Facilities Planning

Strategic Real Estate and Facilities Planning (15 pages)

Brookwood's Chairman, George Heery, developed the concept of Strategic Facilities Planning ("SFP") for the General Electric Company in 1981. Many major companies and institutions, including The Coca-Cola Company, Turner Broadcasting, Chase Bank, Citibank, Scientific-Atlanta and Ochsner Medical Foundation have used SFP since. Not master planning, facility programming or architectural planning, SREFP is integrated into a company's or institution’s business plan and deals with its near term and long range financial and strategic planning for real assets and facilities.

Strategic Facilities Planning for Colleges & Universities (17 pages)

In 2003, Mr. Heery adapted the approach he developed for Strategic Facilities Planning for businesses to to address similar needs of colleges and universities.
