Ming Ming Liu is a consultant to Brookwood Group. She brings more than 21 years of real estate experience to Brookwood where she has served as an Investment Manager focusing on financial reporting for its West Coast projects. She has a strong background in real estate finance and asset management, having previously been employed in the San Francisco Bay Area with BlackRock, Maier Siebel Baber, Cushman & Wakefield, and Jones Lang LaSalle and, previously, in Singapore with Jones Lang Wootton and Colliers Jardine.
Ming Ming has been associated with Brookwood since 2011. She is also an independent real estate broker and has assisted clients for more than five years with investment and personal property in California. In addition to acting as an independent broker, Ming Ming was previously an Associate in the Account Management Group in Real Estate of BlackRock on the West Coast. She participated in raising capital for new and existing real estate investment funds including residential value-add, residential core, commercial core, commercial value-add, retail value-add, global, and residential opportunistic.
Prior to BlackRock, Ming Ming was Vice President of Asset Management at Maier Siebel Baber, the former real estate arm and division of U.S. Trust. She had primary responsibility for the investment analysis and financial reporting of the firm's real estate portfolio. As a part of the Asset Management team, she assisted in formulating the team's investment strategies. She specialized in the California, Washington, and Colorado markets.
Ming Ming also served as an Associate in the Financial Services Group of Cushman & Wakefield focusing on investment sales. Additionally, she worked at Jones Lang LaSalle where she conducted investment research for LaSalle Investment Management and developed and launched Gazelle @ Jones Lang LaSalle, a new product concept for venture capital and emerging high growth clients. Her prior experience also includes international real estate leasing, marketing, research, and tenant representation work with Jones Lang Wootton and Colliers Jardine.
Ming Ming holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a licensed real estate broker in California.
